speedART is one of the first Porsche tuners to modify the newly introduced 2010 Porsche 997 Turbo, which is said to be the finest of the breed. So they got a hard job at hand!
But they seem to have done it properly. The BTR2 580, which stands for Bi-Turbo-Racer–2nd generation, generates 80 more horsepower and 120 more Newton meter of torque than the standard 997 Turbo.
This bump in power is the result of a modified engine management system and a sport exhaust unit with 200 cell sport cats with racing mufflers.
The car is also equipped with Porsche’s state of the art PDK gearbox, so it delivers insane performance. 0 to 100 km/h is done in this car with in 3.2 seconds and if you push it it goes as fast as 325 km/h.
The car’s handling is also enhanced with adjustable sport suspension which works together with Porsche stability control system, and new LSC FORGED 20-inch wheels.
speedART’s Turbo also comes with an aero kit and a distinctive livery. It has a new front spoiler with air ducts for brakes, side skirts, a spoiler on the roof, a rear diffuser and a new rear wing. For the interior you get a new sport steering wheel, racing seats, and the usual blend of leather/alcantara/carbon fiber.
